I not sure if I should have posted this here but does anyone have any information regarding to Vampires, and their legends, and how they live and everything. I'm writing a piece on vampires, and fiction on them, and I need as much information as you can get about them. It's really important. Thanks!

Well, the legends might be based (in part) on a disease.
If you read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vampire#Natural_phenomena_that_propagate_th e_belief_in_vampires it mentions porphyria and rabies for example.
