Two friends, Eddie and Charley, are strolling along the street in the clear Chicago night. Eddie asks Charley to lend him his car tomorrow. Charley stops Eddie right between two flagpoles with Stars and Stripes made of cloth. The flags are 20 m distant from each other. He says: By standing in place, if you point at Old Glory made of cloth that is farthest from you, I will lend you the car. Eddie borrows the car tomorrow.
