A guy is laying on a bed dead. Next to the bed is a glass of ice cold bloody water. The window is open, and it's a cold chilly day. Good Luck! Keith Gilabert

Has he been dead for long? If the glass is ice cold, then the glass was filled (or did it melt?) after the guy died...

Doesn't explain the window, but he was given a drink with an extremely corrosive substance (e.g. acid) in it. He took one sip, coughed up blood into his drink and put down the glass as he struggled to breath, finally dying in his bed. If you need to factor in the open window and cold day, he had just come back in from some sort of sport / run and was trying to cool down as quickly as possible. He was either handed a poisoned drink or it was once again frozen in the ice cubes, since the killer knew the deceased would put them in his drink after his strenuous activity.

The theory goes that a million monkeys typing at a million typewriter will produce the entire works of Shakespeare. Now, thanks to the internet, we know that's not true.

| It appears that he had his tooth removed. This explains the blood in the water and why the water is cold, as one should drink plenty of cool water after the surgery. As for the opened window and a cold chilly day, this suggests that the cold is slightly reducing inflammation. One meaning of the word dead is numb. So he isn't really dead. He is very much alive and he's experiencing numbness in his mouth and lips after the local anesthetic. If he fainted because of pain while changing his clothes, then he can't close the window. The most common cause of first-degree frostbite is prolonged exposure to cold-weather conditions, when the affected area of skin usually becomes white and feels numb. Is this right? | As for how did he die, as in He Pingping, He died at the age of twenty-one of heart complications. He was the world's shortest man who was able to walk.

He was a democrat. Arnold Schwarzenegger threw the world's largest glass through the open window.

Good thinking, Alien. It's Rearrangement. Rearrangement of matter's state. From harmless water to killer ice back to harmless water again. Other folks costarred with Arnold in the 1997 "Batman and Robin" movie. "My name is Freeze. Learn it well!" says Arnold. The poor guy who kicked the bucket apparently failed to heed Arnold's advice, that's why he is dead now. 1). Mr. Freeze prepared an Icy Broth cocktail. The guy drank it, large amounts of small icy particles clogged his air passages, he coughed up some blood during an attempt to clear them but ultimately failed and died of suffocation. Cold weather outside and an open window were needed to keep the shaken not stirred cocktail chilled. 2). Extending Alien's idea Mr. Freeze threw the killer glass made of ice through the window. The glass with blood in it melted some. 3). Mr. Freeze shot his ice-making gun through the window. Hundreds of pieces of icy shrapnel killed the dude. Some of the bloody pieces wound up in the glass, melting eventually (I wonder what's the probability of that?). Happy New Year 133132 everyone!
