Two fathers took their sons for fishing. Each man and son caught one fish, but when they returned ,there were only 3 fish. How could this happen? No fish was thrown back, eaten or lost .

a lovely famous question. so, around here, we'll typically try and figure out non-famous answers that still fit. One of the sons was sel-fish They weren't very efficient? One of them caught a perch... Or a http://www.fishnames.com.au/fishnames/fishnames.php?pid=1990

In the group there were 3 adult sons, or "man and son"s.

It's a grandfather paradox Or maybe they're from a place where same-sex marriage is allowed; although in that case "sons" is a bit misleading, albeit still accurate even if there is just one.
