The Robotic Guards

This riddle came from a friend of mine, and it will be my last one for today. A man wishes to cross a bridge, from side A to B. A:=================================:B A physically invulnerable guard stands at each end of the bridge, who escorts you back to their side if they see you crossing. At 1 hour intervals, they take 10-second naps, but it takes you 20 seconds to completely cross the bridge (at your maximum sprinting speed). How do you cross the bridge?

The obvious solution is to avoid being seen. So train to become a ninja and then cross the bridge unseen. But turning around halfway also works.

Uh, yes. But I believe the guards weren't robots. Another way would be to step on the bridge. Guard A will go and get you. Guard B will go and get A. The 3 of you end up on side B.

| The guards being invulnerable robots just clears up a lot of complications. Quote:Another way would be to step on the bridge. Guard A will go and get you. Guard B will go and get A. The 3 of you end up on side B. |
| The guards only escort humans back to their side. I should have worded that in.

| yup You can search the forum here. (Although you may need to set the maximum age back.) For this riddle it works to search on "guard bridge"

Sometimes it's a little tough to find riddles that haven't been posted in one form or another.
