You are an inspector investigating a murder case in victim's home, where John was killed. Now, as a part of investigation, what you must figure out is a couple of smooth A4 papers, on which John wrote something by hand a few days prior to his death. Mind you, nowhere did John specify where he was writing, and there was nothing else on these clean papers other than his handwriting. But you look at these papers, and pretty soon realize that John didn't write them in his home. Where then?

Well, he was writing on the paper, wasn't he?

OK, maybe I decide that the printed letterhead that says "Paris Hilton" is unlikely to come from the famous heir.

Or John is one of these people who still oppose the metric system and use "letter" paper format at home.

John doesn't have a touch screen computer, and this was done on a computer.

You can only believe i what you can prove, and since you have nothing proven to cmpare to, you can believe in nothing.

Sherlock must be suffering from a momentary bout of dyslexia. Tongue

Try writing a letter in a moving train, and another at your home. Chances are, it would be noticeably different, ( unless you're a stutterer when writing )

Only one letter would start with "Hi, I am sitting in the train right now, I am going to ...".  Wink
