John is a policeman armed only with the most basic bow and arrows, as it happens, up against seven corrupted men who used to be in Special Forces. This means that they are not only more trained than John on all terrains, but also armed with semiautomatic rifles with abundant ammo. The fight between them occurs in woods, and even though they were all in topnotch health, John kills them all, but not due to luck. Well, maybe some luck, after all, we are talking about specialists here. So how did he win then?

Seeing as you're off on a long holiday, here's your to-answer list. 1) Did the men died from the arrow wounds ? 2) Was the arrow poisoned ? 3) Does the fact that it happened in the woods important; i.e. could the situation happened somewhere else ? 4) Did John had help ? 5) What the heck is policeman using bow and arrows for ?? ( Even if his last name is McClane )

John got Ebola fever. Luckily, due to prior exposition to a more harmless variety of the virus, he is immune. The enemies caught him, put him in prison, were coughed upon during the interrogation and died overnight.

All that I can infer from the above link is that United States lost because of real bad strategy likewise tactics. What kind of generals did you use? Beavis and Butthead? If I were US general back there in Vietnam, Special Forces and all, I would conquer North Vietnam, Korea, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Palestine, Okinawa, Japan, China, Great Britain and USSR. on Dec 25th, 2007, 9:32am, Grimbal wrote:John got Ebola fever. All terrains? Hmmmm. What about if John wasn't on any terrain but climbed in one of the trees and well hidden by the branches? There are just too many trees in the woods to pick him out in his camouflage. From his hidden spot, his silent bows are enough to do the job.

Not bad, but these are specialists, and the wound might give away his location, so they would realize that he is on the tree. Then again, maybe he did use the trees to his advantage, but there is more involved here.

Hahaha... if they are Green Berets... just attack them when they are camping at night and retreat back into the woods. They will forget to let their eyes adjust to the darkness after sitting around the fire and it'll be only too easy. If it's SEALs on the otherhand, you'll have to try another plan.

Quicksand. All John had to do was sort of disguise the quicksand so the three doesn't see it, and lure them into the quicksand. Once the three goes in, they'll be too worried saving their own hides to pay attention to their teammates or John. The rest is history.

John is also known as "Eros". You know, the little angel with a bow. They all die of aids. Errr... well, let's try something else. In one Stargate episode, the opponents are protected by electronic shields that activate automatically when they detect a bullet. The good guys first try to use more powerful weapons to get through the shield, but to no avail. Eventually, they realize that an arrow is slow enough to avoid detection and doesn't trigger the shield. They win the fight (quite unexpectedly, unless you already know another episode shows next week).
