Detective Hopper

The detective Hopper is investigating a case, and some facts bring him to a drug addict, a naked man w/o consciousness he never saw before. The man is just lying still in an empty room, except for the syringe and elastic bend, thus he clearly overdosed himself. The detective requests an ambulance right a way, using the living room's phone. When he returns to the room, the detective soon realizes that the man's vision isn't 20/20. He also realizes that he was married, and what particular footwear he wears. But how?

With long-term use, eyeglasses, rings, and sandals would all leave distinctive markingson the skin... --SMQ

While he was in the living room, the detective saw the different family pictures on the fireplace that provided all those details.

Detective Hopper might have checked the telephone diary that was kept beside the telephone. He found that the phone numbers of some eye clinics were written in the diary.

The living room was quiet well organized.Hopper realized that it is unlikely for a bachelor, who is also a drug-addict,to keep his house so organized. So he guessed that the man must have been married.

Hopper finds that the right toe(or may be the left) of the man is missing. So he cannot wear sandals. So he realizes that the man must be wearing shoes.

There is a white cane, black glasses and a picture of his wife. For the footwear, being naked would imply he doesn't wear any.

SMQ, I don't want to depreciate your fine idea, but do you like Conan Doyle?
