Where is the Slow Change?

I was going to wait for my friend to post his version of this before I posted mine (because mine's better ;) ), but I'm getting impatient. Here it is: You have just gotten a job in an observatory. Upon arrival for your first day at work, you discover that the door is locked! You must enter the correct pass code on the keyboard in order to gain access to the observatory. You don't know this pass code, but there is a hint that should help you figure it out. Code: ##hrs; ###° Hint 1: Where is the Slow Change? hint 2: You will need to use your knowledge of Astronomy, as well as Biology and English. hint 3: First English, then Biology, then Astronomy hint 4: http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~wwu/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=riddles_wha thappened;action=display;num=1168108342

Sorry, but I had to change it a little. I think I got a fact from a non-reliable source. :( It might be easier to answer now though. I'm going to bed now (it's 12:22 >_>), and when I get up I might post a clue.

I gather the slow change is when you point your telescope to the North star or more precicely, line it up with the north pole where the telescope need not compensate for the earth's rotation. Using celestial coordinates, that would be +90

I think raven got it. The coordinates for the north pole, the south pole, or equator should do. Take your pick.

Actually North pole if you're in north hemisphere, south pole if you're in south hemisphere. But the equator is not really where the change is slow since the stars are spinning at 15 degrees/hour there.

Hmmn, since you redefined the criteria of how to answer this riddle...let me now say: 24hrs; 360° 23 hrs 56 min 4.0909 seconds; 360° ...actually Which is actually any place on the planet, if I'm not mistaken. But the rotational speed on the North/South poles is far less than it is on the Equator, which is 1,674 km/hr (1,040 mi/hr) or Mach 1.4...so I stick with my original answer, yet I don't know how to specify 90° N in hrs/degrees, at this moment. Alternatively, I would suspect the slowest change from a 'biology' perspective would be where it is cold in climate, and life evolves or at least moves, at a slower pace (I would speculate). Or it could be the cells of our body type slow, such as our hair vs. our gastrointestinal track, of which cells replace themselves at a much higher rate...but I'm not sure what this would have to do with astronomy.
