THere is this man. Currently he is at his job, just waiting. He has been waiting for approximately 2-3 days. He has had nothing to eat nor drink but there is food and water 5 feet away from him. He has heard that his son has won the biggest honor award and he can't attend. What is this man doing. OH WAIT. I just wrote it out. DUH. Anyhow no point in erasing. I think writing out the riddles DO help. Wow this is so easy.

What kind of cruel restaurant keeps their waiter without food or water for 2 to 3 days

Let me add this. HE cannot leave if he wanted to. He is confined to this place for a while and his boss cannot just let him go.

Are we going into the Da Vinci code? Otherwise I am not aware of Jesus's sun. Is being a prisoner considered a job? Maybe a POW? None of these cover the son bit though. Shouldn't it be a What am I? or a What happened? one?

Is being a prisoner considered a job? Maybe a POW? None of these cover the son bit though. I was thinking his job was along the lines of saving humanity through his death and that he was sitting still because he was dead. I seem to recall something about people leaving food and drink by his grave but I'm not positive. The son bit is definitely hazier, but I thought along the lines of Jesus is God's son, and God is Jesus, therefore Jesus is his own son. Bit far-fetched, I'll admit.

From what it sounds like, he's probably crying in the corner and wondering why no one will let him eat, drink, or see his son.

Hmm let me try to add some more stuff. First of all he CAN move around. He can actually go through many places. There is plenty of food and water near him. However he does not go and get it. He is deserted in the place he is. His boss is not there either. He has heard that his son has recieved many awards and he has heard many good things about his family but does not attend the things that happen. If you want me to shout out the answer I will.

Hmm. nope. He is not in a normal place. Most people in their lifetimes dont get to come here. Also the place he is at is where his job is normally.

Yes he is a human. He is actually pretty close to home. Only a few miles. He is near civilization. hint he can do nothing to save himself. Only someone else can save him.

Nope. hes not a criminal. He is a good man and TRULY does want to see his family. There is no murders involved. However if he is not rescued soon... he may die.

He is stuck in a hollow icicle in the middle of an ocean at the bottom. And of course he gets his news through eagles that can go through ice.

He drives a food delivery truck. He dozed off and drove into a huge ditch, where he gets trapped inside the cab. He calls his family (and 911) for help and finds out that his son is doing whatever, but he can't get out.
