There are six eggs in a basket. Six people each take one of the eggs. How can it be that one egg is left in the basket?

The question is: we have 6 people squabbling over one egg and one is still in the basket. What happened to the other four?
Actually, this was posted just a few months ago in Easy. There a number of answers that work:
One person took the basket too.
Someone is a thief.
It's a BIG basket!
