Tom is at John's in his new apartment, and he gives him a guided tour. At the end of the tour, John says that wallpapers will arrive tomorrow, and furniture later. Tom says: 'How about a bet? If I enter your bedroom and in a couple of seconds see myself there, but not in the window, you owe me 50 bucks.' John replies: 'You whish! Do you have a picture, or an object on you that can reflect your image?' Tom says no. 'I know your little dirty tricks: did you left something in the bedroom when I wasn't looking?' Tom says no. 'You got a bet!' - replies John. What happened soon after is that John lost the bet. How?

Well could he have held his hand up and claimed that he didn't specify what part of himself he had to see? That, or he looks out the window and sees his reflection in a mirror across the street that's in an open room.

No to both. If Tom looks out the window, all he can see is the ocean, and nothing else, so no.

He urinates on the floor. I really don't know why John keeps considering Tom as his best friend.

hahaha that was hilarious Grimbal. I think the house is new and the floors are shiny and you can see your reflection.. or you can see the reflection of yourself in the glass of the window? Or maybe it is too close to the ocean and through the open window the water comes into bedroom again making a reflective surface...

Now I say that Tom sees nothing if he looks out the window because it is lunar eclipse, just to be on the safe side. So the window is not important.

But if it is darker outside the window than inside, then Tom's reflection in the glass of the window would be pretty clear and easy to see. At least, that's what I tend to find happens when I try to look outside from a lighted room at night... Wow, that was easy after the hint you gave, Iceman

I say that the window is not important, and then I get three guesses suggesting otherwise. I do have my tricks, but you better trust me on this one.

Well since there's no wallpaper, perhaps he saw his reflection in whatever was going to be covered with wallpaper. Maybe John lives in a house of mirrors. What a weird guy.

Maybe he smokes something heavy and experiences an OBE?* Maybe Tom is a bed, completely identical to John's bed.** Or maybe he takes a picture of himself with his hand-held phone. It is not an object that can reflect his image. * Out of Body Experience ** - May I sleep in you tonight? - f*ck off you pervert!

He writes the letter C on his arm, and "C's" himself?

Along the same lines, he could somehow contort his body into the shape of a C, and that would really be "C'ing" his whole self, instead of just his arm.

If he sees nothing but ocean out the window, this would imply that that includes ground. haha, I get it. He's not "in the window", he's out the window.
