When you're out, and you want to get in, you have to go out. When you're in, and you want to get out, you have to go in. Where and what?

Okay, so this is probably very taboo of me to say, but what about the proverbial "closet"? When you are out of the closet and want to get "in" [to someone] you have to go out on the town. When you are in the closet, and want to proclaim your sexuality, you have to go "in" (if you know what I mean).
