Does it have to be a horse ? I mean, he could always ride a bicycle, or a Harley. Or a zebra, a giraffe, maybe even an elephant.

He rode into town on Tuesday, walked out of town on Thursday, walked back into town on Sunday, and rode out on Tuesday.

hidden: | I agree with SWF. He stayed Wednesday, Sunday, and Monday. The question doesn't say that he stayed for 3 days and 3 nights in a row! | And, where's the name?

ahh but SWF ur way doesnt seem to work he walks in tuesday so he has Tuesday night, wednesday night and leave thursday 2 nights 1 day sunday walks in, so sunday night and monday night 4 nights 2 days but depending on his arrival times of each time he walked in, it could be 3 days however it all depends on the relative point of view in calling something a night, and something a day so either way... sry.. i just got carried away...

If it was Friday's horse (from Dragnet), then we could say that Friday rode out on Tuesday
