Johnny and his wife were celebrating their anniversary. She wanted everything to be perfect: sipping drink in the bar where they first met and then dinner with candles at their house followed by lovemaking. So she was cooking the meal but then she realized that she didn't had the carrot for the salad. Up to that point she was in a good mood but she had quite a temper and pretty thin nerves, so she started criticizing Johnny because he forgot to buy the carrot in the morning, followed by accusations of his infidelity a few years ago with his secretary. Johnny went to the bedroom and slammed the door. He opened the window that was facing their neighbor's nearby house. He wanted things to be better between them so he thought if he could only find the damn carrot. The nearest store was 2 miles away so he wouldn't make it in time because the dinner would get cold. He thought about asking their only neighbor who has two children but they were on a trip. There was no vegetable garden, he didn't know if there was a carrot nearby and he didn't see it from the window, but he went right outside and he found the carrot right away. He brought the carrot to his wife and she calmed down and made the salad. Why did he think in the first place that the carrot might be outside?
