Three Japanese brothers

Three Japanese brothers are walking through an English city, when they see a newspaper headline announcing the banning of hunting in the United Kingdom. Being University students reading English at Cambridge, they decide to compose a poem each to mark the occasion. "Jagged and splintered, murderous intent never ends there," Eiichiro announced. "Clattering hooves on wet meadows - endless, internal nightmare," Chihiro offered. "Darkness imprisons me," summed up Masashi. Immediately afterwards, the brothers go to have dinner... Where do they go and why?

Maybe they are going to eat an animal that is being chased by dogs (Jagged) and men riding horses (Clattering hooves) and lives in a hole in the ground (Darkness imprisons me). Maybe fox (not edible) or rabbit (more likely)
