White box room...

There is a cube box room...no windows or doors...nothing inside but a bathtub..there is a woman who lives in this room..she cant escape..however there is a small hole in the middle of the roof..she has a bath everyday. one day the bath handle broke and the room started filling up.. how does she live?
If you know this one PLESSE dont answer..

Since there is nothing in the room but a bathtub and a woman who lives there, she must not need food or air to live. So even if she is not bouyant, her ability to live without air will keep her alive. Depending on the type of bathtub, it could also be used like a boat.

Maybe the weight of the water as it fills the room breaks down the walls, and she cascades out in a rush.
Maybe the water melts the walls, which are made of some water soluble material, like suger cubes.
Maybe the water forces the roof off the room as it reaches the top, the woman must hold her breath and plug the hole in the ceiling until enough pressure builds up to float the roof.
Maybe something else...

I think Jess is suggesting that the woman would pull the plug, and the water would run down the drain. The only problem would be if the rate of water flowing from the taps exceeded the rate at which the drain could evacuate it.

Sir Col, maybe you are right, but I am still not satisfied.
What if the handle broke off completely. So, with no handle the water would be spraying out horizontally (or some direction away from the tub). I guess the room would then fill up to the lip of the tub, and then start draining. But, this would leave the woman living in a room knee deep in water. Unable to recline or sleep she would eventually become exhausted and die, what a terrible torture. Perhaps she could get back into the tub, and sleep as the water poured down all around her and drained through the tub drain.

I just did an experiment: at full speed, my bathtub fills at a rate of 12 gallons per minute and drains at a rate of 4 gallons per minute. That was filling through the spigot, so a broken pipe is not going to be any slower. As the water level increases, drainage rate would go up because of additional pressure, but I doubt if the drain could keep up with the spigot.
How about: she drinks the water as fast as it leaves the pipe.

Seeing that a toilet was not listed among the objects in her room, that might be painful indeed!
However, if I were trapped in a plain cubical room, with nothing to occupy my time other than taking baths, I think drowning might be a preferable alternative!

if she cant escape how's she sposed to escape? or does she live without escaping, eg. morphing into a mermaid, holding her breath (she will live for a while), poking her head out the small hole at the top, drinking the water, floating up, wait for the box to collapse of water pressure, jamming the tap until it expodes and possibly blasts open the box?
