A woman watched her husband jumping off a high rocky cliff. She later came home, to find him waiting for her. What happened?

Their home was at the bottom of the cliff. He was waiting all right, and bleeding and moaning and all that other stuff people do right afterr they jump off cliffs.

Hooo. That's funny. Better get on with some work... Cliff diving/ parachuting seem pretty good. What about abseiling? Especially the crazy face-forward bush rescue style.

No mention of where the man jumped to. Perhaps he jumped from the top of the cliff to the road alongside, rather than toward the long drop?
