Lady...dead!!!

A lady is found dead in the middle of the street. She has been shot in the back of the head 3 times. The detective searched her pocked to find a packed of cigarettes, a fluffy teddy bear, her house keys and about $2,000.
She is dressed in a sparkling dress with high-heeled shoes. She has many necklace and rings. The weird thing is that there is a thin trail of white powder behind her.
What happened?

I don't need to ask any questions. The evidence speaks for itself. The white powder is obviously ground rhinoceros horn, which she was smuggling inside the teddy bear, walking home from a formal charity ball for the benefit of left-handed firemen. The rhino-stuffed teddy was a door prize. It's considered an aphrodisiac by circus midgets, one of whom, claiming to be a fireman (the chicks dig midget firemen), heard a bell ring, realized that he was no longer the shortest deaf, dumb and blind left-handed fireman with a wooden leg in New Jersey, so he tried to shoot himself. But being blind, he missed and being dumb he did it three times.

Yep.

The white powder was NOT a drug - that was the problem. She went to a dealer to get some cocaine, but he sold her sugar instead. She was heading to the police station to file a complaint against him for selling defective drugs. He shot her to stop it.
Okay - so that's not your answer. Oddly enough though, there have been real people stupid enough to go to the police and complain about being sold bogus drugs! They generally get their wish for the dealer to be arrested. They are just surprised to find themselves in the next cell!

It might not be the right answer but you some of it right:
1) She was going to the police to tell them about the drug
dealer.
2) It was the drug dealer who shot her to stop her
You guys still need to know:
1) What were her connections with the drug dealer
2) Why she is carrying the drug.
The two question both kinda link together

When i made this up i did not think it was this hard. My friend got it straight away.
The lady knew the drug was in the teddy bear. And yes she does own the toy shop. She went to the police for a different reason.
Why does she have so much money on her ?
