Help!!!
Today is a bad day for me... Lately, I experienced the following: I can post only a small text; when the text exceeds some threshold (or contains special text?!), posting becomes impossible.
Has anybody experienced this in the past?

There does seem to be a post size limit again; but I doubt you've run in to that, because it gives a clear "your post is too long" error.
Do you have a problem on other sites, or just here?
I have noticed the site got a bit slow a few times in the last week. It could be you just time out before the message gets through.

Today has been particularly bad - probably related to Hurricane Katrina, which struck the gulf coast this morning. Your path to berkeley goes through american servers, some of which are down, and the rest are dealing with an increased traffic load both from covering for the downed servers and from traffic related to the storm.
If you still have problems in a few days, or are having trouble with non-american sites, then I would worry. Otherwise, just be patient.
