The attachments directory quota was recently exceeded, but I've increased the quota limit such that attachments should work now. Also I've disabled the .bmp image format, since it tends to produce unnecessarily (for our purposes) large file sizes. JPEG and GIF compression formats are preferable.

Couldn't you do automatic conversion? (i.e. detect when it's bmp and the convert it to jpg, or png)
