I've got a suggestion. How about allowing paranoid users like me to opt out of showing our online status? (Okay, I don't actually think my boss might track how much time I spend here, but I would feel guilty if the list of recent visitors always had my name somewhere near the top of the list, and I honestly do not ever want to see my name in the list of top posters). I want the best of both worlds, the anonymity of lurking and the advantages of being logged in.

I would have thought that there is already an 'invisible mode' option, but it just hasn't been enabled yet?
