On a certain day , I visited the mart and found out that I had no money in my pocket. Luckily I found two of my close friends already shopping there.I told them about my situation and so one of them gave me a loan of a single $1000 bill and the other a $500 bill. On my way back I lost the $1000 bill and was left with a $500 bill. With this $500 bill , I bought some items worth $300 , and was left with $200. Out of this , I gave a $100 buck , back to my friend who had lend me a $1000 and a $100 buck to the other friend who had lend me $500. Now I have to give one of my friend $900 and $400 to the other so that I can repay the whole loan. In other words I still have to pay a total of [900 +400] = $1300. However I had also bought some items worth $300 so in total I have to return [900+400+300] = $1600 but I had only lend a loan of $1500. SPOT THE MISTAKE IN THE ABOVE LINES. " aSSUME THAT $1000 AND $500 BILLS EXIST

Why do you have to return the $300? And to whom? You paid that amount once already.
