Hello all. I'm Alkaid, and while I'd love to just have an introduction post, I think I'll start with a few mini-riddles. My friend has come up with a collection of 16 mini-riddles (in solving the riddles, you can the answer to the following "last riddle" Quote:The following is the princess's wish: 411408 51009 812089110112016 1110 931110610013 27182 (Spaces represent actual separation between words.) |
| However, I've thought this over multiple times and have yet to figure out the exact combination of what I'm doing wrong. Below is the list of 16 riddles, plus clues that my friend has given me along the way. I'll also post what I've come up with so far at the bottom of the post as well. Thanks in advance for any help that you can give me and I look forward to cracking this riddle! ~Alkaid

Hints given to Me Quote: - The format for posting has 3 words, followed by the phrase hidden in the sequence. I think that most people would probably be able to guess the first two words. As for the third word, it's very short, and you must say it with intention! - The number of the clue (in order, they are 1-16) may or may not have anything to do with the number in the sequence! Though sometimes they happen to be the same number. - Each clue only pertains to one letter at most. But notice how many clues we have! So perhaps, the numbers we need aren't always single digits! (This pertains to the starter clue, #10!) <- the 1st clue given - Sometimes the answer that you're looking for isn't the word itself! It could be, oh say... the beginning of that word perhaps? (But not always!) - When it seems like what you're looking for is just part of a word, the hint for which part, is usually in the clue itself! If you can't seem to find any hints about which letter you're looking for, then maybe it's just the beginning of the word. - Recall the original instruction post. It is said that "(Spaces represent actual separation between words.)" Which means that... however many spaces there are in the original number sequence, should tell you how many words there are in the phrase! Now, some of you are probably wondering then, what about clue #10?! Well, see, a separation, doesn't necessarily mean an actual space. A wall separates things, but it's not a space. So maybe it's not separating words with a space... But what else could it be separating? That's for you to figure out. - Some of these riddles have to do with rhymes! So think how, perhaps a letter, or a number, could rhyme with something in the poem. And if a letter or number don't rhyme... maybe it's a word? Then, look again at the clue about parts of words and see if you can find the answer you're looking for. =3 Just to make it easier for everyone, the riddles which this applies to are... 1, 11, and 12. |
| Quote: (Tenth Clue Hint) It's a measurement of nothing. It has to be erased, but even after you erase it, the space that it separated, still exists. But when you see two in a row, you should get rid of only one, because the other one is still needed. |
| Quote: (Clue #5 Hint) First, figure out what letter it is. That part shouldn't be so tough. Now, for the number, take a look at the second line: "But uttered alone". What does alone mean? What's alone? Put those next to each other, and find out the number that it corresponds to. |
| Quote: (Clue #11 Hint) Think about rhyme. |

Alright, by figuring out a couple of the letters, I've determined that the last word is likely to be "Souls" Whren I asked my friend, she said it was still incorrect. Still working on the others and any/all help is appreciate. I'd be happy to post along new clues as well.
