Well, this is less logico-mathematical than cultural. hint: In the meantime, I have seen some of these codes on a flight simulator.

If they're airport codes, obviously the missing items would be suitcases Of course that's based on nothing more than that they're 3 letter codes.

It is not airport codes. Even though it could be they all are some obscure airport somewhere. I saw a couple of these printed on a fake airplane control panel that served as a front-end to a flight simulator. That is not a coincidence. However, it has nothing to do with an airplane. Not directly anyway. But the airplane is a hint anyway. Do I sound like Iceman? Anyway, the reference I think of is cinematographic.

| Worse, I thought you were Icey, had to double check to see it's your name who posted this. on Dec 5th, 2007, 8:39am, Grimbal wrote:Anyway, the reference I think of is cinematographic. |
| Meaning ? The answer is referenced to a certain movie ? Or did I interpret it wrongly ?

The first thing that comes to mind is HAL but I am pretty sure that won't be it.

Correct! If you have seen the movie, there are all these screens showing 3-letter codes followed by computer animations, you can guess Navigation, Control, Vehicle, ? Hibernation, etc.

| ROFL... "I'm can't do that Dave..." 2001: A Space Odyssey Hmmm... as to what's missing... I can't seem to find a picture of the console anywhere >.< but probably the space equivalent of an airspeed indicator.
