This will bug you...

Five points on a circle are numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 on a clockwise order. A bug jumps in a clockwise direction from one point to another around the clock. If it is on an odd numbered point, it moves one point (and this counts as one jump), and if it's on an even numbered point, it moves 2 points (and this counts as one jump). If the bug begins on point 5 after 1195 jumps, on what point will it be, and how will you know?

| At point 1 Quote: Way 1: Computer program Way 2:after the first jump, it will be in 1.Now note that the sequence 1,2,4, is periodic ie after 3 jumps it returns to 1. So after 1194 jumps it will be at 1(as 1194=0(mod)3)
