um i believe it is the number of possible outcomes (letters=26, numbers=10) ^ total length of our outcome (willywilly=10) + the number of possible outcomes (letters=26, numbers=10) ^ (patterns occuring so willy = 5, 1231=4, HT =2). that seems to work out can i get some confirmation?

I don't think you've accounted for the extra 10 for 1231231 They are all repeating themselves after a point (1231231 even repeats itself twice, once from each 1)
