So it would really help if you also post the actual question you're referring to (that way we don't all have to go searching for it).   So for reference: Quote: Alice and Bob play a game. Although the variation without that limitation seems more interesting; I haven't found a simple strategy for it when the first digit can't be 0 (with 0 at the start is considered in the old thread).
