Another Solution to Criminal Cupbearers

I think the King only need to murder one prisoner. The prisoner drinks 1000 wine bottles in a week. He drinks one bottle per ten minutes. The poison will take effect after a month. So the King can conclude which wine bottle contains the poison. Tell me what do you think.

I think that is one amazing poison - to take a month to kill, but to do so with less than 10 minutes of variation in the amount of time needed.

I think, were I the King, I would be disinclined to risk drinking any of the bottles "near" the one implicated - I'd hate to die because the poison was half an hour faster or slower than predicted...
