It all started as a stupid pun. What's: 3.1103755200...? But that raised an more curious question for me. What are non -integer numbers called in bases other than base ten? And what's the . called? Huh. No-one here knew a good answer... Double huh.

well.... I took 3.11037... to be Octal Pi. and borrowing the format of "decimal" then non integers would be "N-imals". Awfully sorry. I'll slink away again...
