| Just consider any domain specific social news system (e.g., programming, politics, etc.). This is a question about a really unusual sort of domain for such a system. For example, one might have a "crawler" domain whereby people can only submit URLs that are linked to by at least one of the URLs on the front page. See reddit/digg as examples of social news systems.
