There is a light telling me that it has power, but it is the orange light. I tried moving the mouse and it won't work and i tried using the keyboard, the monitor still doesn't respond. I dontthink that installing the memory cards has anything to do with it. can someone help me?

If the only thing you changed in your computer between the time it did work and didn't work is the memory, then I'd try removing the new memory cards and see if it makes the computer works again. And of course turning everything off (really off, unplug at the wall), then back on, may work for some things (even when it doesn't make any sense; usually then). Does the computer sound like it usually does at start-up? Is it an option to test the monitor on another computer (second computer, laptop or friends)?

I once tried to put PC133 memory in a PC requiring PC100, the computer wouldn't boot. Do you see anything on the monitor or is it just black? Do you hear harddisk activity? If the monitor is black and you don't hear anything, sure enough you memory is not incompatible or defective and is hanging your computer before it could do anything.
