I'm in need of help for 2 riddles? I've racked my brains for 2 hours now and can only get half an answer. 1.Mum, Dad, and 2 children have come to a river, and they find a boat. It is small and can only carry one adult or 2 children at a time. Both children are good rowers, but how can the whole family reach the other side of the river? 2.What 2 English words can have 4 of their 5 letters removed and still retain their original pronunciation. I know one answer to this riddle and that is Queue but I'm unable to get the other one. Help me please!!!!

| Two children go over; one comes back, one parent goes over, the other child gets back; both children go over, one comes back; the last parent goes over, one child goes back; both children go over; done. [edit]I'm much too slow, once again, it seems..[/edit]

Thank you Guy's your life savers! I would just let the owner swim across if he wanted his boat back Lol Once again guy's thanks for at least the hardest one of the 2 I had.

Or maybe aitch, as mentioned on en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aitch or www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/aitch .

aitch, that's clever. Though I'm still not that big on new threads created in the general section just for help with a riddle that's almost definitely in the forum.

| It has come up before, as question 8 here, but I haven't been able to find it using the forum search function. Besides, it doesn't help very much to search for "queue" on the forum. So I had to wait for "aitch"; and then google helped out (which it doesn't always do for this site either).
