This is my first riddle posted. I heard it from a friend, so i dont know if its already been posted or not.

There is a mile-long track. Mr. Speedy runs the track once at 30 mph. What speed should he run the second  lap at for an average of 60 mph?

No, it's not the obvious answer.  Roll Eyes

Well, you don't need to be an Einstein for that..  Roll Eyes

He runs the first lap at 1/30 hpm (hours per mile). To get an average over two rounds of 1/60 hpm, he should run the second lap at 0 hpm.

Wait a second, that's pretty quick.. maybe you do need an Einstein (if only to ask for permission...!  Cool

solving abstract problems is like sex: it may occasionally have some practical use, but that is not why we do it.

xy - y = x5 - y4 - y3 = 20; x>0, y>0.
