A man took a glass sphere that was 50 cm in diameter and dropped it 100 meters without it breaking. How is this possible?

He dropped it from a height greater than 100 meters (e.g. 101 meters).

Drops it onto an asteroid? Or inside a heavily padded container? Or in an express elevator so it "lands" before the elevator begins deceleration?

He drops it in the sun. The ball melts before reaching it. Hey! that could be, it is molten glass!

He fills it with hydrogen and the glass sphere weighs less than deuce and a quarter ounce. It does get sucked into the intake of an incoming 767. Rap
