What is it that will make food taste much better than if prepared without it, and can make illness go away?

Antibiotics. One time I had to take these huge pills and it did not work (gag reflex). I broke them in half and mixed them with applesauce. It was the foulest tasting apple sauce, but it sure made the illness/infection go away.

The question was 'what will make food taste better', not 'what will taste better with food' There's many different possible ansers to this though.. Cinnemon will make some foods taste better, and it has pretty good anti-bacterial properties. I'm not a fan of garlic myself, but it has even better anti-bacterial properties, and some like it a lot. The same can be said for many other herbs and spices. If you're looking for a general 'something' that will make any food taste better (if not good), then specific herbs and spices will probably not work. How about love? Food made with love generally tastes better, and it can make illness go away (by giving you strength and support and a positive mindset).
