On how many days of the week can the last day of a century fall?

Just one. Did you have any particular century in mind?

Nice point asterix. That aside...

Are you trying to tell me that there are days of the week that a century can not end on? Even in cricket that's tough.

There is a 400 year grand cycle of calendars, right?
I suppose that might mean that there are 3 days that the centries can't end on.

But that also means we've got to distinguish when the century ends. I mean, did you party harder in 1999-2000 than 2000-2001?
2001 started on a Monday (old calendar infront of me) so they can end on Sunday.

Mucking around with Windows clock, gives:
01 centries end on  Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday

True, but only I ever responded to that one, and I never gave the answer (and no longer remember it), so you could say that it is still unsolved.

No matter when I may have partied harder,  the answer to the question remains the same.  Tongue
