Its been a bit of puzzle figuring out
a) where to post this one
b) if its been done before. 
Next in the sequences, please...
3, 6, 8, 7, 10, 10....
appologies to some
8, 9, 9, 13, 14.....
Iran, Oman, Syria, Iceland, Bahrain...(could be a few here  )

Compiled some posts- felt silly having a thread all to myself.
They're finite because you run out of tiles
Use the countries as a clue to get the numbers.

Well, to atone for my sin of posting rubbish... here is more of the sequences.
3, 6, 8, 7, 10, 10, 8, 9, 4, 3, 9, 12, 11, 11.... fifteen will score more than eleven.
8, 9, 9, 13, 14, 15, 13, 13... Ninth not as good?
Countires were right all along. First country could have been Iran, not Iraq. Laos, not Mali.
Second: Oman or Mali or India, not Fiji Cuba or Malta
Third: Syria, Haiti, Gabon all okay. And so on.
Fire alarm! Bye!

I thought this one would have been conquered really quickly. Goes to show how wrong you can be.
I consider this one dead dead dead. below is the hidden answer.
Iran scores 4. Oman scores 6. Syria scores 8. Iceland scores 10... see a pattern?
Which tells us what we're dealing with.
one scores 3, two scores 6, three scores 8 etc
first, second, third..... score 8 9 and 9 respectively.
