Assume you and dead people know the hexidecimal number system. How many people know the hexidecimal number system?

Assuming that this is not a trick question, it depends on how far you want to go back. For example, were Neanderthals people? Anyway, I have seen estimates of 9 or 10 to 1 for the ratio of the dead to the living.

| I suspect it is, and it could be a trick question on two counts... 1. None. There is no such thing as hexidecimal, rather hexadecimal. 2. One. Dead people are not people, so 'you' is the only person.

Well, dead = 57005 in decimal form, so 1 + 57005 = 57006 people.

'Hexidecimal' gets 35,100 hits on Google. I wonder which mis-spelling gets the most hits. Quote:...so 'you' is the only person |
| As nobody knows 'hexidecimal', the answer should be zero.

An alternative formulation: Q: If deaf people understand hexadecimal numbers, and two of them pass away, what can we say of their remaining number? A: It's dead.
