There are 100 millionairs in the Gourmet Food Club. Being the picky eaters they are, most of them stick up their noses at 'common' food. Only 15 of them have actually tried both cheese burger and french fries. Altogether, 72 of them have never tried a Cheese burger, and 81 have never even touched French/Freedom fries. So how many millionairs in the Gourmet Food Club have never tried french fries or cheese bruger?

::
n(B[smiley=bigcap.gif]F)=15
(i will denote complements as B* and so on)
n(B*)=72
n(F*)=81

(B[smiley=bigcap.gif]F)* = B*[smiley=bigcup.gif]F*
n(B*[smiley=bigcup.gif]F*)=100-15=85

n(B*[smiley=bigcup.gif]F*)=n(B*)+n(F*)-n(B*[smiley=bigcap.gif]F*)
85 = 72 + 81 - n(B*[smiley=bigcap.gif]F*)
n(B*[smiley=bigcap.gif]F*) = 153 - 85 = 68

Perhaps simpler to understand for people that don't understand the notation..
::
There are 72 people that never tried fries, so 28 that did.
15 people who tried fries als tried burgers, so there are 28-15=13 of these that never tried burgers.
81 people in total never tried burgers, and among these we  identified 13 that did try fries, so 81-13=68 tried neither burgers nor fries.
