1) It's impossible to see it, it's impossible to hear it, it's impossible to smell it. It lies under the mountains and fills empty caves. What is it? 2) A woman has two sons: they were born the same day the same year. But they are not twins. 3) Mary bought a car for 6000 dollars and sold it for 8000 dollars. Then she bought it again for 10000 dollars and sold it for 12000 dollars. How much money did she earn? Title modified by Icarus - Please use Meaningful titles.

My initial guess was silence. But your statement "it lies under the mountains" confuses me unless its sort of a red herring.

"Nothing" might be an answer to problem 1. But air fills empty caves, and crustal rock and magma lie under mountains, so "nothing" does not work for those two parts. Problem 2 is a repeat - it's been posted several times before. 3 seems rather trivial. I suppose the point of it is foul up people who don't consider total cost vs total income. Or maybe the puzzle is where she found morons willing to pay more for a used car than it was originally worth.

I didn't know number 2 was a repeat. Sorry. Number 1: Keep trying.

I would be able to see it if it wasn't so darn dark.
