Well, since the Prez is more than 40 years old, and given that he is named after his dad, I don't think he has changed it. Therefore, his name must of been George then, just as it is today.

Yeah, that's what I meant... While we're at these type of questions, here's one for the Americans: Do they have a 4th of July at Europe?

Quote:Do they have a 4th of July at Europe? |
| Sometimes Americans ask me if we have a Thanksgivings Day in England. I always reply "Yes, we do. It is September 6th, the day that the Mayflower set sail."

Shouldn't that be: Do they have a 4th of July at Europa? Living in Europe myself I don't know anything about the live in Europa, but I would guess the answer is no.

Everyone (including Europe and Europa) have a 4th of July. Only in America is it celebrated (unless some other countries also have special events on July 4th). ^^

I've heard that the English celebrate "Good Riddance Day" on July 4th . But an Earthly calendar wouldn't work too well on Europa; I'm not sure what system Europans would use.

| Please provide the syntax tree for your question. Is it What was {the name of the President of the United States of America} in 1963 ? or What was the name of {the President of the United States of America in 1963} ? And, unlike the "Do they have a 4th of July in Europe" the ambiguity is purely syntactical rather than lexical. "4th of July" is an American (as in "USAian", not "American continental") colloquialism for "Independence Day".
