Repeated vowels are OK. I just know one other.

The only other one I know is aqeous. Along the same lines, what is the longest word that uses ONLY vowels?

Sorry aqueous if I could spell correctly. I've never been accused of being a good speller...

greetings Other than cheating by using "queuing" (I'm not sure if that would count, since someone said "queue" already), I can think of a couple... obsequious onomatopoeia I ran across a webpage once... I'll see if I can find it on google.. It had a whole bunch of "weird vowel words" listed. I'll dig around, and post the link if I can find it.

How about sequoia? And the alternate spelling of palaeoanthropology. For what it's worth, some dictionaries accept the spelling queueing with 5 vowels in a row and the word cooeeing, which is the act of screaming like an Australian. And a post-postscript: here's a word oddity webpage with these and many other vowel combinations: http://members.aol.com/gulfhigh2/words6.html
