I found this site/board looking for psychology of persuasion information, and I've had a good read so far Smiley

Anyway, in the past, I've studied authors such as Robert Cialdini [link removed], but wondered if there were other similar books by different authors that you guys might also be able recommend.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Check out the book: The Psychology of Persuasion. It's a must read for this topic.

It appears so..

Umm, about Robert B. Cialdini's book (mainly the reason I found this site, it appeared in Google) I thought it was interesting but I've read better before.

Instead, Richard Bandler's point of view on persuading people is better even though he can't formulate his thoughts in a simple manner.

I found a book a while ago which isn't quite the typical "influence" manual, but still feel it's a very valuable read/tool.. It's called 'Made to Stick' and has priceless explanations of what makes people remember certain things out of the thousands of things they encounter and experience on a daily basis.. Could also be put to seductive uses too I guess- in fact in the back of the book the authors offer free tips on how to apply their teachings in numerous other areas of life besides just the 'business' arena.

Anyone else have some useful recommendations?
