I am a software engineer and tech lead at X (formerly known as Twitter) working on a variety of things ranging from core services, security infrastructure & product security. In early 2023, I was part of the core project team that brought v1 of Encrypted DM's on the platform to life.

I completed my master's from the Viterbi school of engineering at the University of Southern California in December 2021 and my bachelor's from the University of California, Berkeley in May 2019.

Research

My (broad) research interests are in privacy-preserving technologies and secure systems, particularly at the intersection of scalable distributed computing, data privacy, and machine learning. My DBLP entry (CS bibliography) can be found here.

While I was a master's student, I was a graduate research assistant at the networking and cybersecurity division of the Information Sciences Institute, advised by Prof. Srivatsan Ravi. After graduating, I continued on as a visiting researcher at ISI until August 2023.
