Stephen Le's Homepage
I'm a process engineer at an environmental services firm. I graduated from
the University of California, Berkeley with a B.S. Chemical Engineering in
Spring 2009. My focus option in chemical engineering was materials science and
technology.
Here are some cool links:
- The UC Berkeley Open
Computing Facility provides free computer services to UC
Berkeley students, staff, and student groups. I'm a former Site
Manager, but I still hang around and help.
- The Open Computing
Facility Blog serves to keep OCF users informed of any
status changes and new features. I frequenly contribute to the
blog, and I highly recommend that all OCF users subscribe to
the RSS feed.
- Trapped at
Berkeley is my personal blog.
The following are open-source tools I use and highly
recommend:
- Pidgin - multi-network
chat client (formerly called Gaim)
- PuTTY
- OpenSSH client
- Cygwin - UNIX-like
environment for Microsoft Windows
- VLC - media
player for many platforms
- Perl - awesome
programming language
Here are some other things I'm interested in:
- Rock Climbing - I'm always up for some rock climbing, and I
can often be found at Indian Rock on weekends. Drop me a
message if you're interested in rock climbing.
- Cooking - I like making and eating food.
- Perl Programming - I've been a Perl programmer for many
years, and I continue to develop Perl scripts for CalLUG, the
OCF, and my own personal use. I'm always interested in helping
others learn the language.
