and compete for the title of "Cosmo Beauty", the top athlete in the
solar system. Of course, Akari has a lot to live up to, being the
daughter of the great Tomoe Midou, the greatest Cosmo Beauty in
history. Can Akari complete the Legacy that her mother created?

4) Marmalade Boy

Summary:
Wait a min! Why is this ranked #4??? I loved this series! Argh! Well,
in any case, it all starts when Miki Koishikawa finds out her parents
are divorcing! But wait, they're not only divorcing, they're having a
partner exchange with another couple that they went to high school
with and are going to all live together! However, Miki soon finds out
that the other couple has a son her age named Yuu Matsuura, whom she
falls for. However, Miki finds out her old crush now likes her, and
that Yuu's old girlfriend wants him back. Will Miki and Yuu find true
love with each other or will other relationships get in the way?

3) Mahou Tsukai Tai

Summary:
One day invaders came from space, easily destroyed the U.N. defenses
and settled down to observe us. People eventually got used to them
being around and went about their daily business. However, one group
of people, the 5 members of the Magic Club at Kitanohashi High School
were determined to rid the world of the alien presence. This anime is
a very cute and funny tale focusing on their magical adventures and
battles against the invaders, and of course, the tiny love triangles
between some of the members.

2) Project Ako

Summary:
One of the funniests anime's to come out in the 80's, Project A-ko is
about two girls, A-ko and C-ko, who have been best friends for years.
However, when a new girl, B-ko (yep, those are their names) shows up
at their school, she says she wants C-ko for herself! Of course,
super intelligent B-ko sees A-ko as the only thing between her and
C-ko and decides to eliminate A-ko by designing some robots and
personal body armor to defeat A-ko. However, A-ko isn't completely
helpless. Possessing super strength, will she be able to withstand
B-ko's countless attacks? And how does the alien ship serching for
their princess factor into the story?

Summary:
The Earth is at war with the Jovian Lizards. However, the United
Force Military is so weak and helpless that Nergal Heavy Industries
decides to take matters into their own hands and builds a private
battleship, the most powerful one to date, the Nadesico. With a unique
cast, including cook turned pilot Akito Tenkawa, they're first mission
is to Mars Base, that the United Forces abandoned long ago to the
Jovians. What will the Nadesico find on Mars? And how does the
classic robot anime Gekiganger have to do with anything? The funniest
anime i've ever seen, with an amazing storyline and characters,
Martian Successor Nadesico is one anime you shouldn't miss.
