My Dumping Ground

For those who know me, I am no longer at UC Berkeley.  But I would never forget my days there and all the people I've met.  I have definitely changed a lot in the 4 years that I was there, and I still go back to visit frequently.

To all my friends: even though we may be far apart physically, we've grown together, laughed together, and cried together (OK, I haven't cried "with" all the friends that I know, but there are people that I have). I believe that we're all still intimately connected and nobody can take that away from us unless we choose to sever those ties ourselves. Of course we're now all going in many different directions, but I hope that you'll remember all the little things we've done together. I hope that you still think about/of me sometimes when certain things in your present remind you of our past.

Below is one of my favorite songs.

Somewhere out there
Beneath the pale moonlight
Someone’s thinking of me
And loving me tonight

Somewhere out there
Someone’s saying a prayer
That we’ll find one another
In that big somewhere out there

And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing
On the same bright star
And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby.
It helps to think we’re sleeping
Underneath the same big sky

Somewhere out there
If love can see us through
Then we’ll be together
Somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true.

About the title: I used to write down my thoughts here under the "random thoughts" section but I don't do so anymore. I used to use this place to "dump" all my unhappy feelings. For better or worse, I've switched to another place to do that. But I thought I'd keep that title to remind myself of that history.

This site mainly serves as a place for me to put some pictures (which I haven't updated for a long time, plus there are lots of others places where I can more easily organize pictures). As well, to put post some links that are useful to myself. I may try to change that in the future to make this a more "fun" website to visit, but right now I have no intent to change the purpose of my site.

my e-mail is (myusername)@ocf.berkeley.edu The username is the last part of my web address. I had to take my e-mail off b/c I was getting too much junk mail.
