the top-of-the-line professional deejay compact disc player! the winner, hands down! a solid machine with +/- 10% pitch adjust / speed adjust (no actual frequency change), real-time looping (better than a sampler!), scratch / stutter effect using unique, weighted jog dial cueing. this high-end device even boasts audiophile sound quality (0.0004% thd). this digital turntable puts vinyl to shame!   click here for more info!

numark products

numark

you need anything from numark? a new mixer, dual/single pro dj cd player, microphone headset, or even a light for your mixer?  click here to view numark's web page.  i personally use numark's ppd dhm92dx monitor headset and microphone.  numark's ppd line is definitely worth checking out.  i feel their "peformance series" was one big failure.  i am impressed with their 44.1 khz sampling rate on their on-board digtal samplers.  and they sell a mixer with 180 seconds of sampling!

used gemini pmx-1000 pro dj mixer for sale!

though not "top-of-the-line," this mixer will suit you as long as you do not expect to deejay over the airwaves or at some huge club sometime soon. great for in-home fooling around or whatever personal projects you have. i used it to deejay big college parties, but it remains it great shape! the specs: 6 inputs (4 line / 2 phono), replaceable crossfader, 2 band eq, 1/4" and xlr eqed mic inputs with autotalkover option, assignable headphone monitor output, stereo led vu meter with peak hold, and three outputs (amp, booth, and record). really sturdy design. i originally bought two of these just to cut a good deal with the store, and i already sold the other one off. i just want to sell this one cos i have upgraded.

gemini dj products

gemini used to make some under par equipment, but they have improved tenfold.  if you must use vinyl, consider using the gemini pt-2000.  but don't listen to me, mr. digital.  i've only heard that they are a good, cheaper alternative to the t1200s.  i don't yet approve of any of gemini's cd players, but i do approve of their mixers.  i currently use a gemini pdm 7024 with an on-board 24 second digital sampler.  it also has a full, stereo graphic equalizer.  i am very satisfied.

my current setup

i rent most of my big audio equipment from proformance audio in emeryville, california.
